Curious

My butterfly garden is coming back from a nasty winter freeze and I am so happy! We live on a busy street and so many times last Summer people walking would stop and comment about all the butterflies. My garden is small but packs a powerful punch!

This is how I feel in my garden...I am always trying to find the goodies.

paper and dye ink

Here is a close up... I will be sure to post a picture when I get finished. I plan to have it on a wood canvas to sell at the next artist market in June.

love this, jennifer! it so makes me think of my son matt when he was small. he loved his magnifying glass, collecting bugs (and bones and old bottles and rusty things) and getting dirty. now he's 32 and still has a very active curiosity about the world.
