Adri's Art

How cute is this Kokeshi doll from Adri? I just love, love her work...and when you see it in person WOW! I first met her at the First Saturday Artist market and we just clicked. I wish everyone could be lucky enough to meet her. Check out these super cute ornaments she made:

Halloween Ornaments

These are some fun little Halloween ornaments I made to put on my tree. I have already put up my holiday tree and it's decorated for Halloween. I love this time of year! I enjoy Fall because the holidays are on the way and the weather turns cooler. Last year at the end of the Christmas season I raided the nearest Hobby Lobby and bought some orange and black (for my Halloween tree) and brown and cream colored bulbs (for my Thanksgiving tree). I seriously got them for pennies because they were funky colors that no one wanted...Yay for me! I will show you my cute little Halloween tree once I get it all spiffed up.

Christmas Decorations and Brownies a Cookin'

It actually snowed in Houston today! Of course it melted as soon as it hit the ground but everyone was very excited. I decided to spark the fireplace and put out some of the Christmas decorations. I also wanted to warm the house and tummies by baking some brownies. What a great combination!

My husband and I have a great collection of Department 56 houses that we just love and seriously need to add some new pieces to.

I have several small trees that I decorate every year. One of them has all the handmade kids ornaments and pictures on it. My husband suggested it a few years back and I've been doing it ever since.

I love this time of year! I just wish it didn't go by so fast.
