I had some gargantuan weeds growing in my garden...we're talking taller than the bird bath! I started to pull and pull but they were super hard to get out. When I finally got one out, the roots were very few but long. However, a few of my smaller weeds came out with huge clumps of dirt attached. Shortly after this adventure to my lower back, my son came outside and started asking me questions about this and that.
Got me thinking...

This piece is fantastic. It's amazing where inspiration comes from sometimes. It does have me thinking about the birds and bees discussion I need to have any day now with my daughter. She will be digging up questions by their long, long roots.
