Today was an easy breezy day in my studio. No make up, jewelry or hair spray...just plane ole Jen. I did oodles of experimenting with paint and textures and it was quite enjoyable. After a crazy morning of getting two kids up, lunches made, socks found, breakfast in tummies and out the door for school... I really enjoy a cup of coffee and quiet. I started using the time I spend wedged in the school carpool lines for sketching and ideas.
So I finish out my week happy that I am able to sit in those carpool lines
have two healthy boys,
a loving husband,
good friends,
a beautiful home,
parents that I can drive ten minutes to see,
a studio space in my home,
a butterfly garden in my front lawn,
and last but not least...a crockpot.
