Keychains

Look at these keychains I made! Fun stuff... but I only made three. I didn't know how they were going to turn out so I decided to experiment with them first. I used resin which is always tricky and you never really know if they are going to come out the next day. I have a love hate relationship with the stuff but here recently its been more love then hate.

Splat!

I managed to fall down my stairs and land on my right knee SPLAT! Ouch.. Ouch... Ouch!! I hit so hard it knocked the wind out of me. I don't get along with my stairs (I seriously fall up them as well).

Here is some artwork I added to my Etsy shop today.

Happy Friday

Meghan Tonjes

Totally like this lady! I enjoy her music and ran across this video she made. Most people don't know this about me but I have a thyroid condition called Hashimoto's disease that made me gain weight (plus a multitude of other health issues).

So being fat is a soft spot for me.

Check out her music on iTunes...you will be glad you did she is extremely talented!

I want one! How amazing is Takanori Aiba? For nearly a decade since the late 1970s artist Takanori Aiba worked as a maze illustrator for Japanese fashion magazine POPYE. The following decade he worked as an architect and finally in 2003 decided to merge the two crafts—the design of physical space and the drawing of labyrinths—into these incredibly detailed tiny worlds. Using craft paper, plastic, plaster, acrylic resin, paint and other materials Aiba constructs sprawling miniature communities that wrap around bonsai trees, lighthouses, and amongst the cliffs of nearly vertical islands.
