This week Illustration Fridays topic was Worry. Jeeperz... I was worried about what I was going to do maybe I should have illustrated that! I have never got a summons handed to me but I think if I did this is the worried look I would have on my face!!

Laugh With Me

Here is a new piece I have finally got finished. Don't you just love to be around people that make you laugh? I'm lucky because I have wonderful friends and family that do.

This is what I worked on this weekend for Illustration Friday's theme of Wide. Kinda funky and fun I decided to use it for my avatar. I used paper and dye ink on this piece.

Sway With Me

Here is some new art I have been working on called Sway. I plan to have a Etsy shop update with new work in it soon.

I used mostly just paper but I did use some paint, ink and colored pencil.

Play

Remember when you were a kid and getting a pinwheel was the best thing ever? My son got one the other day and it got me reminiscing about playing with them as a kid. To me it was the next best thing to flying a kite. I remember being in the car with my parents and holding one out the window watching it spin in wonder. Being a parent you certainly get another chance to play again but this time really appreciate it.

Vicki Fish Mixed Media Artist

I am totally KICKING myself that at an art show I attended recently I didn't snatch up some of Vicki Fish's mixed media pieces. I had so much show left to see and so little cash on hand and unfortunately decided to take her card and check her out later. Wouldn't you know it she doesn't sell online because her work is one of a kind. I am hoping to catch her this Fall at another art show here in Houston.
